EMERGED 1995 · WHAT IT GREW OUT OF GOA TRANCE · 1 TRACKS TO START WITH, 5 SOURCES

Nitzhonot, Hebrew for victories, is the Israeli offshoot of Goa trance from the mid-1990s, faster at roughly 145 to 155 BPM, with hard kicks under the Eastern melodies of Indian Goa. The Psytrance Guide gives 145 to 160 BPM and describes high-pitched kick drums and fast oriental melodies. Eyal Barkan's 1998 Good Morning Israel is its best-known release. Astrix started in the style before moving to full-on.
