WHAT IT GREW OUT OF PSYTRANCE, BREAKBEAT · 1 TRACKS TO START WITH, 4 SOURCES

Wikipedia's psytrance article lists psybreaks among the fusion genres, and its breakbeat article lists it as a breakbeat subgenre. Nagamag describes it as psytrance joined to breakbeat rhythms at a faster, more danceable pace, without naming artists or a date. Karan Gill's blog tags Acidrockers' "Inside" as psybreaks and reviews a 2004 compilation, Broken, that mixes breaks, drum and bass and psytrance.
