Skweee is a Swedish and Finnish electronic style built on simple synth or chiptune leads and basslines over funk, R&B or soul rhythms. Daniel Savio named it in 2007, working mainly with a Roland Alpha Juno-1, and Stockholm and Helsinki were the hubs. Flogsta Danshall (Stockholm) and Harmonia (Helsinki) were the main labels, and Planet Mu issued Eero Johannes's debut in 2008.
