AFRO HOUSE
Afro house is a South African style of house that draws on kwaito, mbaqanga, deep house, tribal house and soulful house, with vocals in several South African languages.[1] It emerged in the 1990s, possibly with roots in the late 1980s, and spread abroad in the 2000s, notably in the UK, where it influenced UK funky.[1] Black Coffee, DJ Tira, Culoe De Song and Master KG are among its artists, and House Afrika, founded in 1994, is one of its labels.[1]
