BASS HOUSE
Bass house blends house with bass-heavy styles such as dubstep, drum and bass and UK garage, using four-on-the-floor beats, syncopated basslines and heavily distorted low end at about 110 to 130 BPM.[3] One account traces it to the late 1990s and early 2000s, when UK breaks and house-garage hybrids pushed house toward heavier bass, while Wikipedia dates the style to the early to mid 2010s.[1][3] French producer Tchami launched the Confession label in 2015 and released the bass house tracks Siaw and Prophecy, the latter with Malaa, in 2016.[2]
