breaks

Breaks is the wide family of dance music built on drum loops cut from funk, jazz and R&B records.[2] Tempos run from roughly 110 to 175 BPM, so DJs can mix it with many other styles.[2] Its branches include acid breaks, big beat, electro breaks, progressive breaks and nu skool breaks.[2]
