DEATH INDUSTRIAL
Slower and more atmospheric than power electronics, close to dark ambient, with low drones, harsh loops and screamed or distorted vocals.[1] An essay on the genre traces it to Roger Karmanik's 1985 Lille Roger tapes and his Brighter Death Now from 1989.[2][3] Karmanik also founded the Swedish label Cold Meat Industry; Atrax Morgue followed from Sassuolo, Italy.[3][2]
