What isextratone?
On the hardcore line after speedcore, end of the line. A branch of speedcore.
EXTRATONE
Extratone is speedcore at 1,000 BPM or more, so fast that the kicks stop sounding like beats and turn into notes.[1] Moby's Thousand (1993) and a few 1994 records first passed 1,000 BPM, and in the late 1990s Belgian producer Einrich, who renamed himself Einrich 3,600 BPM, used oscillators to tune his kicks and released them on his label Immer Schneller.[1] Speedcore's other extreme forms are splittercore, from about 600 to 1,000 BPM, and flashcore, an experimental speedcore that leans towards IDM.[1]
