FULL ON
Full-on is the playful, melodic side of psytrance, around 140 to 148 BPM, with a bassline that moves across several notes and octaves.[1] The Psytrance Guide puts its golden age at 2004 to 2009 and names Astrix, Electro Sun and System Nipel among its artists.[1] Astrix began in nitzhonot and is described as sitting between full-on and the clubbier end of trance.[2] Ishkur dates it to the late 1990s, and Ektoplazm calls it peak-time psytrance, with twilight as its dark side and morning as its light one.[4][5]
