Full-on is the playful, melodic side of psytrance, around 140 to 148 BPM, with a bassline that moves across several notes and octaves. The Psytrance Guide puts its golden age at 2004 to 2009 and names Astrix, Electro Sun and System Nipel among its artists. Astrix began in nitzhonot and is described as sitting between full-on and the clubbier end of trance. Ishkur dates it to the late 1990s, and Ektoplazm calls it peak-time psytrance, with twilight as its dark side and morning as its light one.
