FUNKY HOUSE
Funky house blends house with disco and funk, using funk-style basslines, disco strings and drum breaks from 1970s and 80s funk at around 128 BPM.[1] It gained popularity in the 1990s and had major success in the early and mid 2000s.[1] Daft Punk's "Around the World" and "One More Time" helped popularize it, and Joey Negro, Armand van Helden and DJ Sneak shaped its 2000s sound.[1]
