GHETTO HOUSE
Ghetto house grew out of late-1980s Chicago and was recognized as its own style around 1992.[1] It builds on the Chicago house template with minimal 808 and 909 drum-machine tracks, short crude vocal samples and rapped verses or choruses, sometimes with explicit lyrics.[1] DJ Deeon, Jammin' Gerald, DJ Funk, DJ Slugo and Traxman are among its artists.[1]
