HARSH NOISE WALL
Subgenre of harsh noise in which layers of distorted noise are pressed into one static, unchanging block.[1] Wikipedia names Richard Ramirez, Skin Crime, Robot 3000, the Rita and Vomir as early figures, from the US, Japan and France.[1] Vomir, from Paris, describes it as the absence of ideas, change, development and entertainment, and his Bandcamp dates his unchanging sound from 2005.[1][2]
