lounge house
On the house line between jazz house and mega funk.
LOUNGE HOUSE
Lounge house mixes the steady four-on-the-floor pulse of house with the warm, jazzy chords and soft textures of lounge and chillout, usually at about 100 to 120 BPM.[1] It took shape in Europe from the mid to late 1990s, building on Balearic and downtempo scenes, with Ibiza club culture and the Cafe del Mar and Buddha Bar compilations helping to define it.[1]
