EMERGED 1991 · WHAT IT GREW OUT OF DARK WAVE, GOTHIC ROCK, NEOCLASSICAL DARK WAVE · 5 TRACKS TO START WITH, 4 SOURCES

German-language dark wave played on guitar, bass, synthesizer and drums, with lyrics drawing on poets and philosophers such as Gryphius, Goethe and Nietzsche. The name first appeared in 1991 in MagazinOphon, the magazine of the Danse Macabre label, and Zillo used it for Relatives Menschsein, Das Ich and Goethes Erben. The taz names nihilistic texts, an exaggerated longing for death and German lyrics as its marks, and counts the early Lacrimosa among its bands.
