stutter house

Stutter house is a micro-genre defined by an effect: a pulsing, tremolo-like stutter on a vocal, lead or pad, also called tremolo or flutter house.[1] Plug-ins such as ShaperBox and LFO Tool made it easy to recreate.[1] The article ties it closely to Fred again.., and names "Marea (we've lost dancing)" with The Blessed Madonna (February 2021) among the tracks that began it.[1] SoundCloud's Jack Bridges calls it a moment in a DJ set rather than a genre.[1]
