ORGANIC HOUSE
Organic house is a slower, more meditative kind of house that leans on acoustic instruments and natural sounds: layered conga and bongo percussion under synth and acoustic melodies from violin, vibraphone or kalimba.[1] Music like this circulated from about 2017, including at Burning Man, before Beatport made it an official category in June 2020 under the name Organic House/Downtempo.[1] Lee Burridge, Oliver Koletzki and Roy Rosenfeld are prominent names, and All Day I Dream is among the best-selling labels.[1]
