WAVE
Bass music from early-2010s online communities: atmospheric melodies, a filtered Reese bass, trap drums and reverb-soaked vocal chops.[1] Klimeks began tagging his SoundCloud tracks "wave" in 2013 and runs the Wavemob label, and Plastician's Wave Pool mix of December 2015 spread the name.[1] Mixmag put it at 120 to 140 BPM in 2017, naming Kareful, whose Liquid Ritual label and Deluge, the first wave album, followed.[2][3]
