On the bass music line between wave and experimental bass. Grew out of uk funky (uk garage line), tribal house (house line) and kuduro (african line).

HARD DRUM

Percussion-led club music from London with big carnival drums and little melody, mixing UK funky, tribal house, Dutch bubbling and possibly kuduro; the name began as a joke about NKC's tracks.[1] Resident Advisor puts it at 120 to 135 BPM, and NKC's Even The Strong parties and label carry it.[1]
