What isdarkside jungle?
On the drum and bass line between jungle and ragga jungle. A branch of jungle. Grew out of darkcore (hardcore line).

DARKSIDE JUNGLE
Darkside was the scene's word for the menacing turn hardcore and jungle took from late 1992, with horror samples, sinister stabs and rolling breaks.[1][2] Doc Scott's As Nasty As I Wanna Be EP and Goldie's Terminator, both on 4hero's Reinforced label, set the template.[3][4] The two went on to start Metalheadz, whose first record came out in 1994.[4] Sources do not agree where darkside ends and darkcore or dark jungle begin: 12edit uses darkside as darkcore's other name and as a loose word for any dark jungle or drum and bass, not a genre of its own.[1]
