DOOMCORE
Doomcore is the slowest hardcore, about 130 to 160 BPM, with a less distorted 909 kick, spooky pads, screams and industrial noise.[1] Corehistory traces it to early 1990s tracks by Frankfurt's Marc Acardipane under many aliases, which kept the dark mood of We Have Arrived.[1] His Mover albums Frontal Sickness and The Final Sickness came out on PCP in 1993, and a newer wave of slow, dark producers arrived in the 2000s.[2][1]
