DRUMFUNK
Drumfunk builds tracks around intricate, hand-programmed edits of 1960s and 1970s funk breakbeats.[1] Dev Pandya, as Paradox, shaped it from about 1997 and gave it a name around 2000; DJ Mag traces the word to a track on his 2002 Reinforced album.[1][2] He worked with Seba, Nucleus and Subject 13 and started the Esoteric label in 2004.[1]
