On the techno line between acid techno and hardcore techno. Grew out of acid house (house line), hardcore and jungle (drum and bass line).

FREE TEKNO
Pounding, fast techno played on rigs at illegal free parties and teknivals. Spiral Tribe carried it from Britain to France and Eastern Europe in the 1990s; the spelling sets it apart from club techno.
