FREESTYLE HOUSE
Freestyle music built on house instead of electro is sometimes called freestyle house.[1] Freestyle itself developed in New York City and Miami in the mid-1980s, pairing disco-style vocals with syncopated synths and electro drum programming.[1] It sits at about 110 to 130 BPM, with Latin rhythmic touches and melodic vocals about love or dancing.[1] In the 1990s house replaced electro and hip hop as its main influence.[1]
