HARDCORE
Hardcore came out of techno around 1990, when Belgian producers mixed new beat, Detroit techno, acid house and industrial records into something harder and faster, and Joey Beltram's Energy Flash pointed the way.[1] Frankfurt's Marc Acardipane, who came through punk and industrial, made We Have Arrived as Mescalinum United in 1990.[2][3] In Britain, Together took Hardcore Uproar into the pop charts.[4] The sound then split: a breakbeat version in London, and gabber in Rotterdam and Amsterdam from 1992.[5][6]
