HIP HOUSE
Hip house puts rap vocals over house beats, drawing on acid house and pop rap.[2] It arose in the mid to late 1980s in London and Chicago, and the Beatmasters and Cookie Crew's "Rok da House" is cited as one of the first tracks.[2] Tyree Cooper, Fast Eddie, Doug Lazy, Rebel MC and Shut Up and Dance were part of the early scene.[2]
