LO-FI HOUSE
Lo-fi house grew out of outsider house in the mid-2010s, when DJ Seinfeld, DJ Boring and Ross From Friends paired rough production with a wistful, vaporwave-tinged mood.[1] Expect muffled drums, fuzzy synths and a hazy, saturated texture, sometimes with jazzy piano.[1] Ross From Friends, the Essex producer Felix Weatherall, broke through with "(Talk to Me) You'll Understand" in 2015 and later signed to Brainfeeder, though he rejects the lo-fi tag.[2]
