SLAP HOUSE
Slap house grew out of Brazilian bass, and Lithuanian DJs developed a European version in the late 2010s.[1] It has a punchy, attack-forward bass, a short kick, a deep Reese sub-bass and heavily pitched, chopped vocals at about 125 BPM with swung drums.[1] Dynoro's "In My Mind" (2018) is cited as the track that brought it into the scene, alongside work by Alok, Vize and others.[1]
