NU DISCO
Disco revival that began in mid-1990s Britain, with Nuphonic's Idjut Boys, Faze Action and Crispin J Glover, and Black Cock Records' DJ Harvey and Gerry Rooney making disco re-edits from 1993 to 1998.[1] It keeps four-on-the-floor drums and guitar and bass licks, with less sampling than French house.[1] Metro Area, a Brooklyn duo of Morgan Geist and Darshan Jesrani, released their self-titled album in 2002, alongside DFA's New York scene.[1][2][3]
