TROPICAL HOUSE
Tropical house is a relaxed, island-flavored branch of deep house at roughly 100 to 120 BPM, with airy synths, steel drums, flutes and marimbas and softer builds and drops than typical EDM.[1] It developed in northwestern Europe in the 2010s and became a trend around 2013 after Klangkarussell's "Sun Don't Shine".[1] The name began as a joke by Australian producer Thomas Jack, and Kygo, Robin Schulz, Klingande and Felix Jaehn are among its names.[1]
