UK BASS
A scene rather than a single genre: UK producers mixing dubstep, 2-step, house, grime, UK funky and R&B while keeping a percussive, bass-led rhythm.[1] Outside the clubs it travelled mainly on the internet stations Sub.FM and Rinse FM.[1] Spotify's genre system groups Burial, Skream, Pangaea, Rustie and Benga under it.[2]
