FUTURE BASS
Melodic bass music built on dubstep and trap but with warmer, less harsh rhythms, usually 130 to 175 BPM in 4/4.[1] Rustie's Glass Swords (Warp, October 2011) is cited as an early release, and Flume's remix of Disclosure's "You & Me" (2013) took it to a wider audience.[1][2][5] Spotify's genre system groups Slushii, San Holo and Ekali under it.[6]
