HARDBAG
Hardbag was a harder, more techno-influenced offshoot of handbag house, with a heavier beat and often no vocals.[1] It emerged in the UK around 1993 to 1994, with Felix's "Don't You Want Me" often cited as a launch point, and it faded by early 1997.[1] Tony De Vit's "Hooked" is a defining example, and Hooj Choons, Deconstruction and Positiva were among the labels involved.[1]
