MINIMAL HOUSE
Minimal house is a loose label for the stripped-down side of microhouse, sometimes shortened to just minimal.[1] It is groove-led 4/4 music at roughly 115 to 130 BPM, built from clicks, glitches and tiny sampled sounds rather than standard drum sounds.[1] It emerged in late-1990s Europe from minimal techno and house, with Luomo, Akufen and Jan Jelinek among its best-known names.[1]
